Series

The YNA7 series.

One family of drones, one flight core. Each is built for a mission.

  • YNA7-01

    Multirotor
    Drive
    Four or six rotors
    Class
Inspect with a sensor, or carry cargo
    For
    Close inspection, mapping, site delivery
    In 3D above
  • YNA7-02

    Survey VTOL
    Drive
Takes off on rotors, cruises on a wing
    Class
    Range, with a camera
    For
    Pipelines, coastlines, corridors, large sites
    Size one with us

Heavier loads: a larger cargo build, sized to the job.

Classes are what each model is designed for. Your quote gives the design figures; the measured ones come with the robot.

YNA7-01 Drone

Missions
Inspect, with a camera, a thermal pair or a lidar; or Cargo, with a pod or a winch
Frame
Quad, four rotors; or hex, six rotors for more lift. Cargo flies on six
Arms
Carbon fibre tubes
Body
Printed or machined, made for where it flies (below)
Flight control
The open-source PX4 autopilot, on a Pixhawk® flight controller
Link
MAVLink, an open protocol: fly it from any ground station that speaks it
Computer
Linux, for your own code; for advanced AI, an NVIDIA Jetson Orin module or a comparable AI computer beside the flight controller. The flight controller flies; the computer sees
Navigation
Satellite positioning outdoors; optical flow and a range sensor indoors
Payloads
Inspect: a camera on a three-axis gimbal, a thermal and colour pair, or a spinning lidar. Cargo: a pod released on command, or a winch that lowers the load on a line
Cargo safety
Planned: a parachute tested to ASTM F3322-24a by an independent test agency, a geofence with flight termination, and obstacle sensing
Your data
Yours. No account and no cloud needed to fly
Flight time, payload and wind limit
Measured on our first build, and given with your quote

Simulated first Before it flies

A still from our wind tunnel: smoke lines tracing the air round a body.

Its body and arms go through our own flow solver before it flies. Try the wind tunnel

Built for where it works

Every YNA7-01 is made for one of three places. Choose it above.

  • Indoor

    Labs, workshops, warehouses

    Frame
Printed engineering plastic, or machined aluminium
    Sealing
    Open, for quick service
    Fixings
    Steel
  • Desert

    Dust, sand and heat

    Frame
    Machined aluminium
    Sealing
    Sealed joints, filtered cooling
    Fixings
    Steel
  • Offshore

    Salt air and spray

    Frame
    Machined aluminium, anodised and coated
    Sealing
    Sealed joints, coated electronics
    Fixings
    Stainless steel

Dust and water ratings are measured on our first build of each, and given with your quote.

Sizing

Sized as a whole drone.

We do not sell parts. Every drone is sized, built and tested as one machine.

  1. You give us the job

What it lifts or carries, how far it reaches or flies, how fast, and where it works.

  2. We size every part

Gimbal, release and winch drives to NASA-STD-5017B torque margins; frame and arms to NASA-STD-5001B factors of safety; motors, battery and computer to the mission.

  3. We simulate it

Flow, heat and load in our own solvers, on your site, before anything is cut.

  4. We build and test the whole

Desert and Offshore builds are tested to selected MIL-STD-810H methods before delivery, at a lab your quote names. You get the measured figures with it.
